software PSP

The PlayStation Portable (officially abbreviated PSP)[4] is a handheld game console manufactured and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment.[5] Development of the console was first announced during E3 2003,[6] and it was unveiled on May 11, 2004 at a Sony press conference before E3 2004.[7] The system was released in Japan on December 12, 2004,[8] in North America on March 24, 2005,[9] and in the PAL region on September 1, 2005.[10]

The PlayStation Portable is the first handheld video game console to use an optical disc format, Universal Media Disc (UMD), as its primary storage media.[11][12] Other distinguishing features of the console include its large viewing screen,[13] robust multi-media capabilities,[14] and connectivity with the PlayStation 3, other PSPs, and the Internet.[15][16]

Despite the console's superior computing power and its multimedia capabilities, sales have consistently lagged behind its main competitor, the Nintendo DS.[17] After the release of a remodeled, slimmer, and lighter version of the PlayStation Portable, appropriately titled Slim and Lite, in early September 2007, sales quadrupled in the United Kingdom the following week and increased by nearly 200% in North America for the month of October.[18][19]

PSP feeds

Home Brew

Loading ISO games on any M33 firmware is actually a very easy process.

First plug your PSP into your computer via USB. If you don't know what I'm talking about open your window and throw your PSP out of it.

Create a folder called "ISO" in the root of your memory stick an place the ISO into that folder. Put a UMD disk into your drive and then load the ISO files from the "Game" menu and play.

Some games require a later version of M33 so make sure you have the latest M33 version. Since 3.80M33, you can download new M33 firmware updates via the Network Update feature released at 3.80M33.
Otherwise, download it via this webpage as usual.

You can find all of the M33 firmware versions at the following link:

We will add more tutorials on how to load firmware on this forum so please be sure to check back.

PSP with GPS… really?

psp-gps-391.jpg

psp-gps-391.jpg

Sony PSP GPS navigation we’ve been talking about for years has officially been mentioned by a Sony official for the U.S. market :) Big improvement…

It changes the dynamics of GPS but also changes the way developers think about games on PSP because you can start integrating GPS into it.”

Koller said Sony intends to start shopping the GPS add-on to publishers this year, but also told me that the company is already investigating ways to use it in games.

“There’s been a number of things that our first-party worldwide studios have looked at, and they’ve been trying to look at different options,” he said.

Does that mean we can expect a GPS game from Sony early next year?

“Yeah, we’ll probably lead the way on that,” he said.

'LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures' takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled audiences everywhere.

With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the original adventures, 'LEGO Indiana Jones' follows Dr. Jones' escapades through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India. Fans can build, battle and brawl their way through their favourite cinematic moments, from Indy's entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run.

Of course, pop culture's most iconic archaeologist will whip through all the classic moments with the help of a host of supporting characters including Marion Ravenwood and Short Round. Players can also mix and match the body parts of more than 60 playable characters to create new heroes just as they could in the best-selling 'LEGO Star Wars' games.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy Vii -

Just finished FFVII:CC and it's just GREAT the animation in the end is superb, worth playing for it. And there's a special after all the credits which also worth a lot.

I could use some more time playing it, but it's good enough.

It's exactly what fans of the original FF:VII needed, unfolding of Cloud Strife's memories and where did Zack come from in all that brilliant story.

5 stars no doubt.

psp web cam

PSP camera

As for the PSP, it is the recipient of the 'Go!Cam' – a peripheral that appears to be fashioned from a Terminator endoskeleton – and will enable users to take photos and record movie clips. Unfortunately, Sony hasn't given away the resolution of the Go!Cam (a rather important piece of information, I think you'd agree?) but it has revealed a 4GB Memory Stick Duo card would enable it to record up to 160 minutes of video or shoot 40,000 photos (I'll let you do the maths).
It is really good and good graphic!
